As you may have seen, the Association recently installed two LED lights and pole systems at Recreation Center #2 to help light the spa area. The two lights are pictured to the right. In addition to improving the aesthetics of the area, the lighting has helped with trespassing and vandalism.
Installation of Lighting at Kid’s Parks
We have received many reports of loitering in the play structures at the Kid’s Park on Promenade Chardonnay Hills near Parducci Lane and the Kid’s Park on Promenade Bordeaux. The parks have no lighting, which allows those trespassing to “hang out” in darkness. With this in mind, and considering the success of the LED lights that were recently installed, the Board of Directors is considering installing one of these lights at each park. The Board will be discussing and possibly approving this project at the Board Meeting on Thursday, August 6th. If you have any comments regarding the lighting, please send them to the Board via e-mail to [email protected]; or offer your comments in person at the open Board Meeting, which begins at 6:00 p.m. at Avalon’s Temecula Office (43529 Ridge Park Drive).
